The Ostdiek Collection showcases the hard work and dedication of the Ostdiek family during their years with the Gretna Guide and News. From 1968 to 1998, the Ostdieks chronicled the lives of those in the community as well as the major happenings in the surrounding community.
The Ostdieks have loaned the items in this collection to the Gretna Public Library for the express purpose of digitally archiving and displaying onHistoric Gretna. Larry and Diane Ostdiek retain the rights to the physical items.
