Clara Busekist
rites held
Clara M. Busekist was
born August 16, 1899, the
daughter of Anna Simonsen
and Peter Hansen, at Chalco,
Nebraska. She died in
Omaha. Nebraska on
October 24, 1977, at the age of
78 years, 2 months. and 8
days.
Clara Busekist attended
schools in Chalco, and on
February 18, 1920, was
united in marriage to Fred
Busekist at the home of
her parents, then in Millard,
Nebraska. Fred and Clara
farmed in the area and in
1941, moved to Gretna.
Mrs. Busekist is survived
by her husband Fred, sons
William of Syracuse, and
Melbourne of Scottsbluff;
daughter Donna (Mrs.
Richard) Lewis of Millard.
16 grandchildren, 6 great—
grandchildren; brother Will
Hansen of Millard; and
sisters, Mrs. Minnie
Christiansen, of Tilden, and
Mrs. Anna Fallesen, of
Neligh.
Services will be held
Thursday, October 27, 1977,
at 2:00 p.m. at the
Resurrection Lutheran
Church, in Gretna, with the
Rev. William Koeber, Jr.
officiating. Music will be
provided by Mrs. .Karen
Schram, as organist, and
Judy Schram as soloist.
Selections are “How Great
Thou Art”, and “Burdens
Are Lifted at Ca‘lvary”.
Pallbearers will be, Bill
Busekist, Jr., Leonard
Busekist, Scott Busekist,
Craig Lewis, Curt Lewis, and
Doug Lewis.
Interment will be in Voss-
Mohr Cemetery, Millard,
Kahler Mortuary, Papillion,
is in charge of
arrangements.
